Some Facts About Stalingrad

  1.In 1942 and early' 43, in the city, the sky was
      bleached bed-sheet white each morning.
2.All day long, as I carried the souls across it, that
sheet was splashed with blood, until it was full and     
                bulging to the earth.
    3.In the evening, it would be wrung out and
    bleached again, ready for the next dawn.

Aikido word: Founder 開祖

The Founder 開祖, pronounced Kaiso. Consists of two Kanji:

• 開 open/begin start
• 祖 ancestor/patriarch

90% of the Aikido on YouTube and such, is rubbish.

OK, I am exaggerating, it is 99% rubbish.

Contradictions

How can you become soft until you discover that hard breaks easily?
How can you reject violence without facing your own?
How can you overcome fear without knowing fear?
How can you declare victory over self without understanding self?

You can not.

Some say that Aikido is built on contradictions, how can martial be peaceful and non violent?
